The Church of Scotland, Isle of Berneray, Outer Hebrides

The Church of Scotland on the Isle of Berneray is located in the community of Backhill. It stands right at the edge of the moorland. I have visited the church many times, in different years, with different light, trying to find an angle to portray this church. I like this photo, with the rock in the foreground, covered by lichens, and the dark sky in the background. It fits the austerity of the building.
