About
Christoph Corves is a photographer, geographer and documentary filmmaker.
He holds a professorship for geography and media at the University of Kiel in Northern Germany where he teaches visual geography and social entrepreneurship.
Together with his partner Delia Castiñeira, he has founded the media production company Dokufaktur which has produced several documentary films for German public television and ARTE.
Christoph's current photographic work focuses on man made landscapes in Germany and the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
In 2023, he has published his first photo book. “Land am Rand” is a visual geography, a portrait in images and text, of the Probstei, a provincial region at the shore of the Baltic Sea in Northern Germany.
